This policy explains how Race Receipts LLC ("we", "us") handles information in the Race Receipts mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). We are based in Florida, USA.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, provided by the team owner who invites you.
- Password: stored only as a one-way encrypted hash. We never see or store your password in readable form.
- Sign-in records: sign-in sessions and recent failed sign-in attempts, used to keep your account secure and to temporarily lock it after repeated wrong passwords.
- Content you add: the timing series, links and settings your team saves in the app.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, payment details, advertising identifiers or device tracking data. We do not use analytics or advertising tools.
Timing data
The app displays motorsport timing and results published by official timing providers (for example lap times, sector times, speeds and driver names as shown on public live-timing services). This information is already public; we collect and store it so your team can review it. We do not combine it with any other personal information.
How we use information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To provide the app's timing, comparison and archive features.
- To respond when you contact us for support.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Sharing
Your name and email are visible to the owner of your team. Data is stored with our hosting and infrastructure providers, who process it only on our behalf to run the Service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Storage and security
Data is stored on secure servers in the United States and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Sign-in tokens are kept in your device's secure storage. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete my account), which immediately deletes your name, email and password and signs you out everywhere. Your team owner can also remove your account. Team owners, or anyone who can't use the app, can ask us to delete their account by emailing support@racereceiptsapp.com from the address on your account; we will do so within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests as required.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders.
